J.S. Bach's Long Walk in the Snow

At 20 years old and in his first job as an organist, the young J.S. Bach got into such trouble that the only thing he could do was to walk away.  J.S. Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow takes you on that trip: a 400 km odyssey to a glittering northern port city with street fights, big business, the father figure he didn’t know he needed and, quite possibly, love.  Tom Allen is known to music lovers across the country as the host of CBC's daily afternoon classical show, About Time.  Hear and see him up close in our intimate (and insulated and heated!) barn loft space, and allow his warm, humorous, and insightful storytelling to ease you into the month of December.
